Footage from the 2012 Jones Beach Air Show on Saturday May 26, 2012. There had been rain the few days prior to the show and there was a lot of haze over the ocean, and therefore, a TON of vapor. This is just a taste of what the crowd of over 150,000 saw. On this pass, the Super Hornet made no fewer than three vapor cones.
Super Hornet was from VFA-106 Gladiators.
Footage was taken with a Canon SX200 IS mounted on top of my Canon 7D, shooting video while taking stills at the same time.
