Scuba diving the wreck of the USS Oriskany (CV-34) on April 3, 2007. The Oriskany was sunk as an artificial reef after a long career in the US Navy. She is in about 180 feet of water in the Gulf of Mexico, off of Pensacola, FL. The flight deck is at 136 feet, which is the maximum depth I attained during my two dives. The Oriskany was sunk as an artificial reef in May 2006, so this video was taken just under a year later.
