Brush Thoughts:
Dianyw Silver Black Velvet Dupe
Good lineweight variation
Decent belly- not overly drippy
Maybe a bit too floppy- might be pure squirrel?
Seems to hold a good amount of water
Artegria Large Brush Set
Oval Wash: Kinda short for a cat's tongue, doesn't hold a lot of water.
3/4 Flat- fine, I usually buy synthetic for flats anyway. Good bristle length, not too drippy
6 Flat- same, basically. I don't generally use flats this small
Dagger Striper- Ok, a little difficult to control? I bought a few of these awhile back, this would not be my favorite of the bunch, but it's not terrible. A decent inclusion that I would probably forget to use.
Rounds:
12- Kinda stubby for a 12
10- Kinda drippy
8- Kinda drippy
6- Water control is a bit of a challenge with these rounds- they're too stubby, so all shakeyness of your hands also transfers to the linework.
3- Was kinda blunt cut and doesn't come to a proper point
0 Fine for details but holds like NO water, constantly redipping, would not be good for inking or doing linework
Artegria Quills:
6- This is kinda a stiff quill, and the bristles really ling together unless you get it REALLY wet, and then it kinda loosens up. A bit unwieldy- the bristle length is very long, but it's not quite balanced with the handle.
2- It is much more manageable.
