#AMALoggia is an online experience of the place that we call home, our historic building and its magnificent loggia. The building, completed in 1912, was designed by Paul Cret and Albert Kelsey as the residence of the Directors General of the Pan American Union, later the Secretaries General of the Organization of American States. In October of 1976, the residence officially opened its doors to the public, repurposed, as the Museum of Modern Art of Latin America, now the Art Museum of the Americas, where we enjoy sharing the arts of OAS member states in this Spanish colonial style building, a candidate for National Historical Landmark Designation, and a unique place for special private events.
