Fan Game based on Metroid II: Return of Samus. For ten long years, this game was originally developed by Milton Guasti (a.k.a. DoctorM64). After its release, it got about one or two updates from him.
Not too long after that, however, he got a Cease and Desist notice from Nintendo. Time passed, and the game still was at version 1.1, until another development team got to work on updates, releasing them in the AM2R subreddit as patcher programs.
Version 1.5 is the latest one as of this video's date (although two new versions are in development stages at this moment, with no estimated release date yet). Version 1.5 brought a LOT of changes (plus the changes that previous versions brought in), so again you should check the subreddit of this game to read what's new.
So, here's a playthrough of Normal Mode, all items/upgrades collected. I'm not a speedrunner, but at the very least I managed to do a few cool tricks along the run (I hope). I'll see you again soon in the next game, and thanks for watching!
