I've finally accomplished my first slash and it was quite a relief to do a vid WITHOUT Elizabeth in it...
***STORY***
1st Verse: Will's POV [Red Border]
Calyspo decides to open her big, fortune-telling mouth and tell Will that Jack has been having an affair with Norrington.
Angry and hurt, Will contemplates a way to confront Jack about the affair. [yellow clip]
Chorus:
During their daily sword-fight practice, Will gets a little aggressive and Jack decides to cut the seesion short. Will refuses to let him leave [red clip] and thinks to himself as Jack leaves anyway [yellow clips].
2nd Verse: Jack's POV [Blue Border]
Jack suspects that Will is hiding something from him and in the interest of avoiding confrontation he chooses to break-up with Will. As he walks to the door Will mentions his vendetta against Norrington [orange clips] and suddenly realizes that Calypso is the reason for Will's abnormal behavior [blue circle].
Chorus:
Jack remembers his past relationship with Calyspo [green clips] and he goes to confront her about her jealousy and her LIE that sabotoged his relationship with Will. Then he kills her for causing him so much pain.
3rd Verse: Will's POV [Red Border]
After Jack leaves, Will decides to see Calypso for more answers, unaware that Jack got to her first. Convinced that Jack killed her to cover up anything else he may have done behind his back, Will grabs a gun and ends his life, leaving Jack INNOCENT and heartbroken =[

Ok so heres the deal...I hardly ever read...I half assed my way thru lit class in high school and i have only ever read one book cover to cover voluntarily. Settling on this book was actually an accident...I was gonna use The Notebook but the other day I put this in and about 15 min into it...it dawned on me that that was a book....BAM instant inspiration...sorta...then I was origianally gonna do you found me by the fray but it just didnt resonate with me...so when I heard this song on shuffle it hit me that it ties in perfectly with the movie and how it progresses....
So for this video I used very little flashback...only if it was necessary for the lyrics...not as a copout but as an accent..the memories have a blur effect to them so u know when they show up...
Even tho the actual movie ended with Bev in the car with her dad...I thought it be more appropriate to end with her and Jason bc their relationship was the tre focus of the movie. Just to be clear...this book is a memoir and its based on the authors actual story...tho I have not read it...I went along with the movie assuming that it was very accurate to the book (if it helps I did watch the DVD extras for a little more research and the real Bev and Jason were constantly on the set making sure that the story was told right).
I worked super hard on this guys and I think its one of my personal bests...I get choked up at the beginning and making it reminded me of the struggles my mom went thru to raise me at the age of 18. I put my heart into this...ENJOY!!!!")

OMG I DONE!!!!!!!! I seriously started this the day after i found out what song i had! I loved this song...UNTIL I did this vid! haha but as much of a pain it was I think the result is pretty satisfactory =]
So on to the video:
I couldnt decide right away what fandom I wanted...I practically tossed through every fandom that I had to see what fit the most. I kept coming back to Sparrabeth. There are 2 lyrics that really stuck out to me that screamed this couple!
Judges Notes:
Your bubble wrap it sounds strange...but i interpereted bubble wrap in this song as somewhat of a saftey net... which I see Norrington and Will to be.
Theres beauty in the breakdown There is a moment in DMC where I think Liz and Jack both have a realization that they have let themselves be vulnerable around each other.
So this takes place in DMC and if you have seen the movie its pretty self explanitory. I just really wanted to show how Jack gets Liz to let go of her high society life and be the pirate he knows deep down she is. That is how I origianally planned this video...until I realized that Liz also helps Jack let go of his bad boy/pirate image and be the good man that she knows he is.
Ive never analyzed this couple like this. Ive always just analyzed the reasons I believe they should be together but this challenge was very liberating. I have a deeper appreciation for my favorite couple ever! Thanks to the judges once again for the challenge...it was a very rewarding experience...even if I did rip my hair out once or twice =]")
