Ok so heres the deal...I hardly ever read...I half assed my way thru lit class in high school and i have only ever read one book cover to cover voluntarily. Settling on this book was actually an accident...I was gonna use The Notebook but the other day I put this in and about 15 min into it...it dawned on me that that was a book....BAM instant inspiration...sorta...then I was origianally gonna do "you found me" by the fray but it just didnt resonate with me...so when I heard this song on shuffle it hit me that it ties in perfectly with the movie and how it progresses....

So for this video I used very little flashback...only if it was necessary for the lyrics...not as a copout but as an accent..the memories have a blur effect to them so u know when they show up...

Even tho the actual movie ended with Bev in the car with her dad...I thought it be more appropriate to end with her and Jason bc their relationship was the tre focus of the movie. Just to be clear...this book is a memoir and its based on the author's actual story...tho I have not read it...I went along with the movie assuming that it was very accurate to the book (if it helps I did watch the DVD extras for a little more research and the real Bev and Jason were constantly on the set making sure that the story was told right).

I worked super hard on this guys and I think its one of my personal bests...I get choked up at the beginning and making it reminded me of the struggles my mom went thru to raise me at the age of 18. I put my heart into this...ENJOY!!!!
