Your local time travel enthusiast :) im sorry for completely bailing; school tried to kill me (not literally) multiple times and i had to stop just to focus on that haha… but im back! And i forgot how fun map parts can be, so i just banged this one out in one day to get it out there!
The designs of Doc and Marty in this part are more loosely based on the way they look in the musical, compared to how they look in the movie btw! I just saw the musical live and it rewired my brain chemistry so i just wanted to do something to tribute it :) dont worry you’re gonna be getting a lot more stuff based on the musical now hahah (go watch it right now im dead serious its so good!! But watch the movie first. Please im obsessed with this series) ALSO when i say based on the musical i mean Roger as Doc and Olly as Marty, bc those are the ones i got to see live!

I’m back with yet another map part !!!! Yay!! I’m pretty proud of this one, even though the editing is. Kinda basic, just a few zooms and shakes lol, but I really went overboard on making the art Perfect (as I could make it)

But anyways!! I used Spy School characters again, and this part focuses on one of my favorite scenes in the second book, Spy Camp! (So I GUESS there’s spoilers so if you wanna read spy school

So yeah, my favorite scene is when Ben is trying to get Alexander back into his usual superspy persona after Erica and Cyrus are kidnapped. I made it so that Ben is the light and Alexander is in the dark, sorta. And I used my Mike design in the scene even though he doesn’t get recruited until Secret Service- in place of Warren bc when I made that frame, I didn’t have a design for him!! Sorry 😭

I took it like. Over a month ago? Made the storyboard in like two days, did three frames, and just left it there. So I just got around to finishing it now! The reason the art looks different in the first few frames compared to the rest of the part is because I had the part for so long that I actually switched from Medibang to Procreate in the middle- 😭😭 PLUS my designs for ALL the characters have changed since I drew them originally,akfnwjnfe

Breaking news, Falcon made a PMV!!!!! Yeah I know, I’ve never done something like this, but it’s mostly an animatic sorta pmv in the first place so yeah,,
Anyway!! Can y’all tell who my favorite Danganronpa character is lmao,,.. i swear i have many reasons for liking Leon but uhhh i can only articulate the ones that r like “HAHAHHHAHAH YEAHAHHAHAHA WOOOO BASEBALL BOYYYY LETS GOOOOO!!!!” sorry...,..
But anyways anyways, this goes through basically his whole story [by that i mean. Chapter one and what you can tell from his ftes, i am still VERY salty that he doesn’t live past chapter one!! Its been ten years and I’m still over here saying Leon should have lived] throughout the game! From his aspirations to be a musician to the very unfortunate decision he made in chapter one.
I tried do do symbolism w the different styles (full pmv, sketchy characters, etc) but idk how well it was conveyed, i just rlly like making things unnecessarily complicated to edit 💔
I heard this song once and went ‘that’d make a good Leon pmv’ and i. Made it. I had enough motivation to make this lmao what!!

This part takes place in British Invasion, specifically chapter three (“Transit”)!! It’s a rlly nice scene where Ben and Alex have a talk about how Alex never reallyy wanted to be a spy, and how he was essentially forced into it by his lineage; then Ben reassures him that he /does/ have talent, and then Alex says “yknow i kinda feel like a father to you ;)” and i died on the spot!!!!!! the theme for this map was platonic relationships/found family and if this aint it......

I KNOW THIS IS LIKE THE HUNDREDTH PART IN A ROW FOCUSING ON ALEXANDER BUT I CANT HELP IT LOL his story makes me feel emotions 💔
This takes place during the first few chapters of ESS, when Alex is clearing out his office after admitting that he falsified all of his accomplishments in the agency. He’s sorta mourning the loss of his job, his position, and how people thought of him- as the epitome of what a spy should be. But he’s also mourning the connections he had with his family, before letting the whole ‘’cheating my way to the top of the CIA in order to make my dad proud of me’’ thing get in the way. Love u alex but for the first few books u were a MESS lol
