Altona boat ramp and safe boat harbour is located on Altona Road, Seaholme with parking available for 105 vehicles with trailers. The facilities include public toilets and a shaded fish cleaning area. There are no boat washing facility provided at this boat ramp. The safe boat harbour has six launching lanes and the capacity to shelter 70 to 100 boats depending upon size.
There is regular sand movement in the dredged channel at the entrance to the safe boat harbour, care must be exercised when entering and leaving the safe boat harbour area as channel depth may change.
