Just by starting Intro Story and pressing A outside the time window for ISG, a restrained variant of ISG is activated. It can only cause fadeouts during cutscenes that directly follow a normal fadeout from a loading zone rather than the typical DK spin. If you watch any cutscene that doesn't match this criteria (e.g. the short cutscene when you enter a tag barrel), the glitch will be deactivated.
