The Altair Astro 183c Pro Tec is a cooled dedicated colour CMOS astronomy camera. I ended up buying this at the Practical Astronomy Show in 2019 and I actually took a few days before I even opened it...

I'm so excited to get first light on this. I've heard super good things about it and I'll be able to work out the correct amount of cooling thanks to Dr Glover's talk (youtu.be/3RH93UvP358)

I'm expecting my images to increase now. But equipment is only one part. I'm eager to watch my skills increase to meet the challenges that dedicated cameras present!

Just gotta wait for those clear skies now...
