A storm is brewing in the realm above the clouds...
The thunderous beats of the drums calls upon lightning
to strike from the heavens.
Yeah thats right, its another touhou themed level. This time I actually did base the level off of the song instead of just the touhou characters spellcards. I used the music to discern the general intensity and vibe of the gameplay and I used Raikos character as big inspiration for the visuals and even a gameplay mechanic near the end. Really happy with how it turned out.

Had to turn off environmental sounds and obstacle sounds for this unfortunately, it cut the music off.One of the newer levels made. Very grreat purple theme.

This was a super high concept level that I made as my 3rd serious level! Me and my mediocre editor skills tackled a challenge where I make a lengthy level with a lore and some minor exploration with secrets and a bossfight! All in a level that is supposed to flow even with its own slightly faster shortcut routes!
I dont think I achieved that high concept. The lore is impossible to read unless you slow down or screenshot, and I could have told it in a much more stylized way than carscreentext. The level had to be nerfed visually in a bunch of areas so people can actually play it. Also the part that required some exploration was not explained very well and it could have been done better.
The boss is also a little weird if you die during it.
Despite this though, it was a great learning experience and I think I had a lot of cool ideas within the level regardless.")
