The extremely rugged Glacier Gorge might be my favorite place in Rocky Mountain National park, and I return to it to get a second summit of one of my favorite mountains in the park, Chiefs Head Peak. The vantage point from this thirteener deep in the wilderness is superb, and even more so was having it all to myself on a fairly hot late July weekend.
