Using a double jump out of a Mowz glitch, I can stand on the seam of the room. I do two Mowz glitches to demonstrate how the camera can be shifted up to visibly see the double jump. Once on the seam, I can use Yoshi to easily maneuver in the air once I fall from the top seam. I can get underneath the spikes and reach the other set of spikes, but the only problem is that I cannot reach the next loading zone from that point.

The reason that this would skip Chapter 6 is because this room is the only required use of Spring Jumping outside of Chapter 6. If we can somehow reach the loading zone to the right without using Spring Jump, all of the Excess Express and Riverside Station would be skipped.

What I tried with Ms. Mowz near the end of the video is jumping while activating her. You can do a one frame jump while she her ability is activated, so you can get a little bit of height. It's not enough height to hit the spikes unfortunately.

If it were theoretically possible to get a Mowz glitch while hitting the second set of spikes, you can do a double jump afterwards and land on the second platform (in between the set of spikes). From here you can do a Yoshi hover over to the right, as seen in my Tool-Assisted Speedruns and the RTA World Record.

This trick would save approximately 15 minutes.
