The New Year is here, and with it comes more glitch chaos.
New Text Storage Method found by SolidifiedGaming: youtube.com/watch?v=rjPdGuohIJ0

This Palace Skip method incorporates the newly found Ultra Boots Text Storage. This form of text storage comes about by activating Goombella on the same frame that Mario begins to turn into a spring for a Spring Jump. This causes Mario's animation to cancel, allowing him to move around freely while Goombella's text box remains on-screen.

Upon the execution of this trick, time is essentially stopped, similar to the Mowz Glitch. You cannot interact with enemies in any way. To work around this, I closed Goombella's text box midair, unpausing the game. Right when I land though, before her text box finishes closing entirely, I reactivate Goombella. Because her previous text box closes shortly after she is activated again, Mario shortly after regains the ability to walk around, but with the added bonus of now being able to encounter enemies!

From here, it's just like before: Line up near the back wall, charge a hammer spin, switch to Yoshi, and teleport beneath the floor.

This is ultimately not faster overall, since we skip getting the Ultra Boots (and all of Chapter 6, for that matter).
