A Scottish ballad about a man who runs afoul of a witch, is transformed into a serpent, and later saved by a faerie queen! More often referred to as Allison Gross. This song only has one source- Mrs. Anna Gordon, who shared the song with her nephew Robert Eden Scott in 1783.
