What's up, y'all? Hope you're all doing well. Staying blessed. Not letting anyone tell you what you can and can't do. And checking drama at the DOOR! Ohhh, chile. And I crossed brands in this video.

Sooooo...

TBR's can be great–even if you don't stick to them.
Once you take the pressure off, they become a fun and creative challenge (here's a blog post example of one I put together last year bit.ly/2TYyt29). They're especially useful when trying to clear those unread books off your shelf (while ditching the ones you quickly learn were occupying shelf space without paying property taxes). Most of all, they can help keep you out of limbo when you're indecisiveness on what to attempt to read next.

So as any internet-book-uploader-person would do, I wanted to share what I cooked up for the month of April. I took a note from Remembered Reads over @ bit.ly/2EiV3PW. While adding in a few books I've been meaning to get to after having done #ReadSoulLit and #MarchMysteryMadness.

I bumbled my way through a few minor details that I tried to correct in the annotations. Forgive me. Anyway... the books mentioned (these are Amazon affiliate links) are:

1. War Trash by Ha Jin (amzn.to/2FZOdhg)

Ha Jin’s masterful new novel casts a searchlight into a forgotten corner of modern history, the experience of Chinese soldiers held in U.S. POW camps during the Korean War.

2. Nanjing Requiem by Ha Jin (amzn.to/2WKXnE3)

It’s 1937, and the Japanese are poised to invade Nanjing. Minnie Vautrin, an American missionary and the dean of Jinling Women’s College, decides to remain at the school, convinced that her American citizenship will help her safeguard the welfare of the Chinese men and women who work there.

3. The Boat Rocker by Ha Jin (amzn.to/2G1hrMX)

New York, 2005. Chinese expatriate Feng Danlin is a fiercely principled reporter at a small news agency whose website is read by Chinese all over the world. Danlin’s explosive exposés have made him legendary among readers—and feared by Communist officials.

a. Blog Post on one of my favorite Ha Jin books, The Crazed (bit.ly/2YPbF8A)

b. Blog Post on his 2014 release of A Map of Betrayal (bit.ly/2WKMrpR)

4. Sailor Moon Eternal Edition 3 by Naoko Takeuchi (amzn.to/2UqEatX)

c. Sailor Moon related blog posts (bit.ly/2OPtAHm)

ANNNNDDDDDD! THAT'S IT. HAVE A GOOD DAY! Hot sauce on plain potatoes chips ALL DAY, BABY!
