In this video we identify vintage Alley marbles and examine some more of the informal Alley Agate marbles nicknames with Ron Shepherd.
Alley Agate (1929-1949) is arguably the most popular of the West Virginia Swirl marble companies with collectors, but did not market any of their glass marble models.
The examples shown here adopted nicknames from collectors and enthusiasts over the years. We provide Alley Agate identifications tips here, and look at comparisons to Ravenswood, Heaton, Champion, JABO and Vacor De Mexico company models.
