In this video we protect Black and Blue Salvia (Salvia Guaranitica) for overwintering in colder gardening zones. Salvia Guaranitica is an exellent hummingbird attractor but is a tender perennial and not reliable hardy for gardens from zone 6 and colder. This process will ensure the survival of your salvia through the colder months until spring.
Your salvia should benefit from this protection and get larger and bushier for the next gardening season.
I hope you enjoy the video, and happy gardening! 🌱
