These are all water slides at Atlantis Freizeitbad in Dorsten, Germany. The tropical-inspired indoor water park opened in 2001 and was the very first water park featured on this channel back in 2009. Besides a half-enclosed body slide situated in the pool area, Atlantis features a pretty large water slide complex with three slides. In 2010, a short stainless steel slide was added to the outdoor area. While the ride lineup was solid compared to other water parks in the area, there were no standout attractions before the 2026 expansion. This year, two high-speed body slides were added to the pool area. The Tropenwirbel slide is one of the most intense slides of its kind as it features an intense twist followed by a steep curved drop, launching guests into a bowl where they spin several times. Korallenstrudel is a pretty short but intense body slide which consists of a long and tight helix, resulting in strong g-forces.
