After listening to isolated tracks of this song, I believe that there is a guide guitar that was recorded on an early take. This has been identified by some over the years as a nylon-stringed guitar, but it is too soft to be accurately identified. I have not seen any recording sheets for this song. Lennon's triplet rhythm guitar part was probably done as an overdub so that he could perform punch-ins for the inevitable goof. I have read that in order to add McCartney's second vocal they bounced to a second 2-track machine. None of us was there so we can only guess.
If Harrison was playing his guitar cannot be heard on the original recording until the solo, so I played what he played in live performances during that part of this video.
I eliminated the third verse. No tabs.
This is a 1966 Gretsch Country Gentleman played through a Vox AD15VT set to AC30TB w/ no effects. Min Bass, Min Mid, Max Treble. .010 -.046 nickel-plated wire wound strings. No tabs.
My videos are really intended for accomplished guitarists who want to polish up their Beatles repertoire and can benefit from "seeing" how a song is played - I am not a guitar teacher and do not provide tabs. I welcome specific questions. If the various chords that I am playing are not familiar to you then I would suggest that you visit some of the many free guitar chord sites. I had to learn these songs by listening to vinyl records and watching live performances on tv.
