When were you going to tell me that this drill press had a laser beam for centering the bit over the work? I bought this drill press from FB Marketplace a few years ago down the shore. The owner told me it had a laser. I completely forgot about it and never tried it. It is really obscured in an area on the drill press that I never really look at. After going through all these iterations with the drill press trying to find center of the chuck over the marked line or over the tape measure I rediscover this laser beam thingie. And I was like "I could have had a V8!"

I threw a 9V battery in it and BOOM! The laser beam was BEAMING! With a little adjustment on the column I was able to get it to match the point of the VCT transfer punch on the workpiece. Now I just have to line up the laser crosshairs over the tape measure and we're good to go! YEA BUDDY!!!
