PLEASE READ to understand – (Iyrics & dialogue below) – be warned, there are some season 3 spoilers in this! by request for a special group of Sassenachs – I hope you guys enjoy! :) Told mostly in Claire’s POV, a little in Jamie’s – starts with end of vid and goes back to the beginning of their story (following lyrics). Tinted frames show their memories at the time, except for at the stones, which shows how Claire wanted to escape at first, (the desire of her past) – with the last frames at the stones untinted, showing her change of heart - not wanting to let Jamie and life with him go - but to "let go" of the need to escape as well as the need to stay (since she had to leave). “Don’t tear me down” isn’t just about the pain that comes from arguments, etc, but also decisions made that caused both great pain or grief – for all involved - showing J & C away from each other, grieving and desiring to be with one another, but also trying to make a life apart, though the memories are always there, as well as the need to be together. "Make it fade away"- she wishes her life w/ Frank would fade and she'd again have Jamie...End of vid takes up from where vid started - with Claire back in the past and looking for Jamie, ending with the hint of a long-awaited scene of season 3 and what comes from it. ;-) No more room to write - take the rest of symbolism as you will.
