ADICAT is a Caretaker fan project depicting a rapidly progressive case of vascular dementia. The album pays homage to All Pleasantries Must Conclude, an earlier fan work by May Records. It portrayed a story influenced by her great-grandfather, who had passed away of the same condition.

My aim was to provide a respectful tribute to May's great-grandfather, as well as her brief presence in this community, in the form of an overhaul and expansion upon the project's sound and concepts, still keeping its iconic harsh feel.
