Hydrangeas are some of our best flowering shrubs for foundational plantings. They look good layered, as standalone shrubs, and tucked within a diverse garden setting. We have planted over 15 different species/cultivars in our gardens at Flock, including representatives from the five main shrub types that you can find on the commercial market. We'll take you through some of those varieties, their flower types, how some hydrangeas change color, and some helpful pruning tips for each species of hydrangea.
