From Nathan’s VHS Archive:
"In this tape, we're guided by a casually racist depiction of a genie through the world of large construction machines. The acting is charmingly bad and each machine has a corny personality and voice, just like the actors."
From the box:
"Featuring... 'HARD HAT HARRY'
Take A Magical Ride To See MONSTER Machinery!
Join 'Hard Hat Harry' -- the construction worker's genie -- and his young friends, Max and Alex, as they travel to major construction sites to see massive machinery in action. Just a little sprinkle with magic gravel -- and away you'll go!
In this thrill-packed adventure, you'll see more than 25 piece of GIANT construction equipment on the job, including colossal cranes, bruising bulldozers, dirty dump trucks, powerful pavers and so much more. Kids get a close-up look at earth movers digging tons of dirt, skyscrapers and roads being built, stone mountains being blown to bits by dynamite, even monster machines that magically introduce themselves and explain exactly how they work!
Educational and truckloads of fun, this is an exciting video that inspires new, imaginative play ideas for your children's own construction toys. Kids from ag 3-10 are fascinated by the rugged sights and roaring sounds of awesome construction equipment, and in this 30-minute, high-quality video, they'll actually climb into the driver's seat! So put on your hard hat, fasten your work belt, and get ready for really BIG entertainment!"
