Another level, another review. I hope I can keep doing these as much as I possibly can for you guys, and myself. I love reviewing levels and this one was quite a slide. By that, I mean I actually almost didn't record it because I didn't think it would be worth it considering... its not the most "memorable level"? but it's still quite the collab so I decided to do it anyway, and I do not regret doing so. I originally saw this video on Maxann's channel and decided to at least give it a shot, and here we are.
For the gameplay, this level was quite fun. Assuming the gameplay was mostly made by Alkali, there were no bugs or anything really annoying that I could find so in my opinion, its 10/10. But I mean, its Alkali, any gameplay coming from Alkali is usually great so im not too surprised. I really found the ufo quite interesting using the pink orb, and at 0:31 was really fun as well, as confusing as it looks. I beat this in about 8 minutes (including a practice run) so yeah, I would say this is suitable for an easy demon. A hard easy demon? definitely not. This is probably one of the easiest demons I have played in a while, which is quite refreshing.
The decoration of course, is pretty empty and bland for my taste. There isn't a whole lot of air decoration or saws and arrows to fill up the empty spots in Golgothan (Distortt)'s part. Keeping in mind, the style used is usually empty so I am not really keeping that as a major factor or critique for this level. I do love the flashes in the block designs itself, I actually found it really nice and fit with the song as well. 0:19 would probably be my favorite part in the level because of the gameplay mechanic and the flashes in the block design... I don't know, to be honest nothing in this level is really "outstanding" in terms of visual's so it's quite hard to judge and critique. But still, not terrible either, with Golgothan (Distortt)'s nice flashy block design and Alkali's flashy unique style, this level has its own charm that is really nice to play in game.
Overall, this is a pretty solid level with not much to complain about considering this is definitely a level you would want to play for its gameplay rather than its decoration. Which is NOT a bad thing at all! if anything I love levels like these because it makes your experience much more fun rather than annoying, which I would rather play a level with okay decoration and fun gameplay than something visually appealing and not fun whatsoever. Anyway, this level will probably get an easy demon rating with a feature, I can't say it will get epic confidently but yet again, I'm not RobTop so I can't really predict what will happen. Good job to Golgothan (Distortt) and Alkali for making a really fun gameplay packed level with a great song as well:)
