"Design has always been absolutely central to feminism and indeed to gender politics."

For #WomensHistoryMonth, we asked writer and design critic Alice Rawsthorn which woman from our Collection she finds inspiring and, in this film, she shares with us why she chose designer Agnes Garrett.

Agnes established the first interior design business run by women, and was also involved in the suffragette movement. Alice discusses with us the importance of design and how it is used as a tool for change.
