Solo vibraphone version of the theme song composed by Sammy Fain for the Walt Disney 1951 animated film Alice in Wonderland. One of my favorite versions is from the Bill Evans trio with Scott LoFaro and Paul Motian from their recording Live At The Village Vanguard recorded in 1961. I worked on this song with Gary Burton way back during the 70s at Berklee. Gary was a huge fan of Bill and he mentioned him quite often in the lessons. In the lessons we covered quite a few tunes composed by Bill as well as many standards that Bill played during his career. Bill was a major influence in Gary's playing as well as with so many others.
