Insights into Mathematics | Algebraic Calculus One ... and Two! | Algebraic Calculus Info | N J Wildberger @njwildberger | Uploaded 4 years ago | Updated 5 minutes ago
The online course Algebraic Calculus One at openlearning.com has had its first beta run at openlearning.com over the last two years. Overall it has been a very pleasant success. In this video we recount the main innovative aspects of this purely algebraic approach to a classical subject. The Fundamental theorem of the Algebraic Calculus (different from the familiar Fundamental theorem in usual calculus courses) is briefly presented.

And then we describe the exciting Algebraic Calculus Two course which is currently under development, and hopefully will be available later in 2020. A lot of novel and fascinating topics await!

Dr Anna Tomskova has been a huge help in putting together Worked Problems and Homework Questions for the course, and also contributed some nice explanatory videos. Many thanks to her, and to all participants who have made such a wide range of interesting contributions by way of comments, suggestions, insights and solutions.
