This rare archival clip from October 14, 1955's episode of NBC's TODAY Show contains an amusing cameo from director, Alfred Hitchcock. In a manner true to his unique directorial style, Hitchcock perpetuates the suspense in the scene. As he did in many of his own movies, Hitchcock remains silent throughout his visit to the TODAY Show, acting more like a background character than a special guest.
