Well, it only took 309 episodes, but I finally got around to Sega's OG mascot, Alex Kidd. Alex Kidd in Miracle World is a game that I knew about, but I hadn't ever actually spent significant time with until this week, so it was nice to be able to finally to a look at Sega's answer to Mario, pre-Sonic the Hedgehog.

Does Alex Kidd in Miracle World still hold up almost forty years later? Or is there a reason that Sega was quick to ditch Alex once the blue blur came along in 1991? Take a look!
