On October 1, 2022, police responded to a trouble with party call during Oktoberfest in La Crosse, WI. A male had allegedly beaten his girlfriend and fled on foot. A foot pursuit occurred after he noticed the police but he was quickly apprehended. While officers spoke with the suspect, he repeatedly swore at the officers and claimed he did nothing wrong.
