On September 20, 2021, an officer initiated a traffic stop on a silver vehicle speeding in Mount Pleasant, WI. Upon approaching the vehicle, there was a strong odor of marijuana giving police probable cause to search it. When they removed the driver from the vehicle, the front passenger seemed to be acting nervous and couldn’t quite get his name right. Officers knew he was lying so he hops into the driver's seat and takes off.
