If you're looking for a hike that will make you fall in love with Cyprus, look no further than the Aphrodite and Adonis Loop. This trail takes you through some of the most scenic and mythological spots in the island, where you can follow the footsteps of the ancient lovers.
You'll start at the Baths of Aphrodite, where the goddess of beauty used to bathe and seduce her handsome admirer. Then you'll climb up to the Moutti tis Sotiras peak, where you'll enjoy stunning views of the coast and the forest. Along the way, you'll see wildflowers, wildlife, and a 500-year-old oak tree. This hike is not only a feast for the eyes, but also a great workout for your legs and lungs. It's about 7.5 km long and takes around 3 hours to complete. You'll need good shoes, water, and sunscreen, as there's not much shade on the trail. But don't worry, you'll be rewarded with a refreshing dip in the crystal-clear waters of the nearby beach after your hike. The Aphrodite and Adonis Loop is one of the best trails in Cyprus for views and fun. It's a perfect way to explore the natural and cultural beauty of this amazing island.
