Congress voted to make daylight saving time permanent on July 14th, 2026, and the airline industry says it isn't ready. Airlines for America is asking lawmakers for up to two years to update crew scheduling, reservations, and connecting flights before any switch takes effect. The bill now moves to a Senate that hasn't committed to a vote.
