AI and loneliness have become increasingly more prevalent over the past couple of years due to a variety of reasons. While both of these topics are interesting on their own, there is something that can only exist in their intersection… AI girlfriends and boyfriends. Today, I will be exploring some of the more philosophical themes surrounding AI partners and what that means for society at large. Towards the second half of the video, I will try out some of these chatbots for myself to see if they can truly replace real life romantic relationships.
