AGM-86B Air Launched Cruise Missile (ALCM), filmed at the Los Alamos nuclear museum in 2010.
This film shows the hatch on the underside of the nose section. The coffin-shaped hatch covers the warhead compartment where the W80 nuclear warhead is stored for the flight to target. The warhead is loaded into the compartment from below.
The ALCM was first deployed in 1982 and remains in the active USAF inventory and is carried by the B-52 bomber. The AGM-86B is armed with the W80 nuclear warhead.
