Southern Yellow Jacket colony ATTACKED this client's dog so this nest had to go! When I came out to take care of this colony, I saw how sensitive this colony was. When I got within 15 feet of this nest, they started to swarm and attack everything out of place. Southern Yellow Jackets are the most aggressive species I deal with, and they are clingers and latchers; when they latch on, they will not let go and will attack to the death! And this is precisely why you should AVOID subterranean Yellow Jacket Nests.
