In this video I demonstrate the effects of HIGH VOLTAGE on on a Hornet's nest material. After soaking the cellulose of the comb in H2O mixed with Sodium Bicarbonate, High voltage is effectively charged through the comb due to conductivity of the water/salt solution.
The same procedure applied to wood allows the high voltage to pass through the grain of the Maple wood and burn fractiles into it's surface.
The cause and effect of high voltage upon sodium bicarbonate - absorbed cellulose, makes for beautiful art from an extreme circumstance.
