This won Missy and me a BDA Gold Award. That's first place in whatever the category was, and it's all due to Missy's design, not me. I enjoyed the ride, though!
This was a "Ted" project, about the ill-state of our planet. That is all that I remember. Missy had her gorgeous elements ready, and I just did my usual polishing and animation perfection (haha), which wasn't much for this.
I did the music here, on my Korg T1, just as a stand-in, because I don't have nor do I remember the original music. I always hated it when they wanted to put in the music afterward!
At TBS, I almost always had the (often custom) music to do the video with - an oh so critical factor, as I'm a big music buff and want every pixel on that screen matching up with something in the music. With a lower budget for CNN in those days, it was almost always (inexpensive, non-custom) "needle-drop" music, that anyone and everyone who wants it has access to. :(
Congratulations on the BDA, Missy, and thank you for adding to my small collection of them. :)
