Continuing my exploration into the realms of indie electronic music with my second upload from Afternoon Author. The track is called Juju and it explores the themes of self-progression toward a brighter future while, at the same time, attempting to prevent the past from interfering. Interestingly this track started out as a synth jam session from crew member ZCB before it developed into the layered and flushed out the track we have here. Always love a good origin story.

Ive got another fire track from Elènne for you to check out today called King of Thebes and man, this ones on anther level. You probably know just as well as I do that vocal modulation and chopping got pretty played out over the last few years ago. Its a technique that I feel was used and abused by a lot of producers especially after the Skrillex era. However, Elènne has fully mastered the technique and breathed fresh life into it for me. Plus the overall vibe of this track is just off the charts for me, its so stylish I feel like I need to throw on a tie. Let me know what you hombres think of this one, would love to hear from you.

Im just going to say it. SHIMA is one to keep an eye on. Dont sleep on following this one, shes going to be a big deal if she keeps dreaming up unique vibes that are this well executed. So this was my first dive into the audio react capabilities of Blender. Got myself well confused before I finally was able to find my way around. Just a simple bit of rotation and texture manipulation, small steps. Hope you enjoy it. Next Id really like to model some cool environments for these odd objects to be floating in. Wish me luck.

With this track Wish I Was hopes to bring even more attention to Make-A-Wish and World Wish Day and the significant role a wish can play in a childs medical treatment.
