I'm a bit late to the party with this one from Wish I Was, "Ready To Start" featuring Kara Kuper is a track Wish I Was created in celebration of World Wish Day which falls on April 29th. With this track Wish I Was hopes to bring even more attention to Make-A-Wish and World Wish Day and the significant role a wish can play in a child's medical treatment. Research has shown that a wish can give kids a huge boost in physical and emotional strength to help them fight against critical illness. What a cause and props to Wish I Was for taking this on, what a great cause.

Todays track Eos comes to us from UK based producer Mazoulew, and its a real day starter so grab a cup of coffee (or tea) and wake up to this. It has to be said, this downtempo umbrella genre has some of the craziest producers in the game at the moment IMHO. These young guys are crafting such mature and respectable tracks, I mean at their age I was still trying to figure out how to melt faces. Mazoulews been in the game since falling in love with trip-hop and sample-based genres in 2004 and has since been collaborating and flushing out his own personal identity. Hey, I think its definitely paying dividends now.

The track is anchored by heavy, distorted bass kicks, pulsating like a corrupted heartbeat. Layered above is a chaotic mix of off-kilter melodies, bouncing and weaving unpredictably. Wow, do I ever love some big cinematic soundscapes, especially when they take on that classic 80s vibe. Today I have such a track for you from Code Elektro called Zer0 Gravity. This is one of those tracks I get stuck on for a while, I just cant stop hitting repeat! The epicness of this tune, I straight up feel like Im walking out onto The Grid and hopping onto a neon trimmed motorcycle.... ok that was pretty nerdy but whatever Ill own it.
