To save Earth from the mistakes of mankind, ancient timelines converge.
AFTER TIME is a sci-fi short film set in a post-apocalyptic world where dinosaurs and other primitive creatures roam the widely devastated planet that we all once knew. But life, always finds a way...
ARK: Survival Evolved and all related assets are the property of Studio Wildcard. This is a non-commercial fan-made film.
This short film was predominantly made much before anything CONGO related had been published, sometime in 2016 throughout 2018. Here, we tried to practice our skills and see if we could pull off live-action dinosaur VFX. As a result of the 'no-budget' filmmaking, we've used some videogame models from ARK, and others which are widely considered inaccurate by today's standards. Only the ending scene of the short was recorded relatively recently (2023) to finish the film. We still felt the story was worth telling, and we concluded post-production in May 2024.
