This After Effects fire text tutorial will show you an easy way to create realistic fire without any plug-ins or fire stock footage. This is a great way to make an eye-catching text transition for things like film titles, movie titles, youtube intros, tv commercials, and video game menus.

The effect can be used on text, as shown in the tutorial, but it can easily be modified to work on a fire logo or other graphics that need some hot drama. The effect can also be used to heat up your backgrounds is you end the tutorial right before the part where the Track Matte is created.
