Ultra endurance cyclist Mark Beaumont embarks on an epic 10,000km ride through Africa from Cairo in the North to Cape Town in the South in an attempt to break the world record of 59 days and 8 hours. His ride will take in 8 vast countries including the deserts of Sudan, the highlands of Ethiopia and the breathtaking wine making region of South Africa. Completely unsupported and alone, can he battle his way through this great continent whilst sourcing his own food and water and somewhere to sleep each night?
