After my video on Thoughts Without a Thinker, where I talked about how patterns perform niche construction and mentioned how this really sounds like another way of describing affirmations and manifestation, a commenter asked for a more in depth video about it. And so, here are some more thoughts on the matter.
I think patterns construct their niches in us, or thoughts find ways to perpetuate themselves, through a few ways, one of which is by activating our salience network. The idea of the salience network isn't my own. I was inspired by James Doty. He just wrote a book about manifestation, which I haven't read, but I did watch his video here
