In a state as vast as Queensland, aeromedical services play a vital role in keeping communities connected to healthcare, regardless of where they live.

Behind each flight is a coordinated response led by Retrieval Services Queensland, helping send the right care to the right patient, including through services such as Royal Flying Doctor Service - Queensland Section and LifeFlight.

The new Aeromedical Precinct at Brisbane Airport will bring these services closer together and a dedicated patient transfer centre designed to support patients between aircraft and road ambulances before they travel on to a city hospital.

Delivered in partnership with the Queensland Government, the precinct is part of #FutureBNE and Brisbane Airport’s long-term investment in the capacity and capability needed to support Queensland’s growth.
