The US Air Force Research Laboratory has awarded Aero Mech Engineering a contract to supply the Sand Dragon anti-IED unmanned aircraft system for operational asessment in Afghanistan by late 2010. This will use four Aero Mech Fury B UAVs with an endurance of more than 24 hours carrying a miniature dual-band radar and EO/IR sensor. This is an edited Aero Mech video of its Fury UAV.
