Dutch CH-47D Chinook and Eurocopter AS532 Cougar helicopters participate in sling-load operations training providing the airlift support.

The 6 helicopters remain suspended a few meters above the ground until the crews from the Mobile Air Operations Team of the Air Force and the Airmobile Brigade have hooked up the loads.Then the helicopters leave for Edese Heide, about 15 kilometers away.

Sling loads enables vehicles, equipment and supplies to be
quickly transported to remote areas inaccessible otherwise.
